Disneyland Dining plan?

I would like to hear experiences from those who have used the Disneyland dining plan. I am not convinced that it is worth the expense, and I certainly don't quite understand how to use it.

We went to WDW two years ago, and if (when) we go back, we WILL do the dining plan again.

Please convince me one way or another for the Disneyland plan.

It's not really a "dining plan" like WDW's current plans, but when you buy a package you can get meal coupons for certain amounts at certain restaurants. It didn't seem worth it to me, but I didn't really understand it either :lol:

We were looking at getting the "Minnie" plan, but decided not to.
