Holy moses!! It just took me so long to figure out how to start a new thread!! haha
Anyways...

I applied for the program today and I have to set up my interview tomorrow which I have totally researched and seen what kind of questions they'll be asking but I have a few of my own and don't know if they'll be stupid to ask the interviewer...

1) Lets say I wanted to do the March-August course, Is it just for that amount of months then you graduate from the program? Do I have to apply and interview again to do another one?

2) I want to work for the Disney corporation forever!! What program would you suggest first?

3) What are some good questions to ask the interviewer to show that I am 500% interested?! I never have questions for interviewers!

Please help! Thanks:king:

so i interviewed almost a month ago...it was super easy...the questions are just like questions in any other interview i have ever had....you know...why do you want to work here....what can you bring to disney....those simple kinds of questions.....they will also ask you if you would be willing to do some of the other jobs you didnt register for such as custodial....food services...merchandise...and lifegaurding....if you are willing to do any of these i would say yes because they need the ost peole for those positions and it will increase your chance of getting into the program. In my interview they asked if i would like to audition for entertainment positions, which i did, and i got accepted as a character perfomer. I dont know if you have any dance experiace but if you do that might be an option for you. From what i have heard the college program is the place to start if your looking to work for Disney "forever". After that there is the actual career internship program. But i hope this helps you out and let me know how things work out for you.

!!Good luck!!

That actually helps a lot thank you! I don't really have any dance experience.. I kind of really want to be one of the princesses that walks around the park but I think I would do bad at the audition but amazing at the actual job haha so I'm not sure how that would work out.. Anyways, I have my interview friday.. Im so excited!!!!!!

First, Welcome to the boards! Second, no question is a stupid question. I'm going to try to answer your questions. I'm a campus rep but I did the WDW program and DL's is newer so I'm not as familiar even though I should be.

1) I'm not sure what you mean by course. Do you mean the program or classes to take on it? I'm not familar with a program that is that length. I know that there are a few quarter length ones but I believe those are only available.
If you are interested in doing another college program you could extend and stay on yours for up to a year or reapply once you get home for another semester.

2) Which program to do really depends on what field you want to go to. Either way you get a foot in the door and to put Disney on your resume. Since you already have an interview set up you are locked into applying for the DL resort for this semester. You may be able to call and switch to WDW but the change would need to be made soon. You can only interview for one program at a time.

3) I can't really think of any ideas. I don't believe that there are any that would show how interested you are. I know for my interview I just answered the questions. Don't be afraid to pause to think about your answers and don't be afraid to ask questions if you have them.

Good Luck!!

Thanks for your input! I'm still so excited! I was up til 3AM last night looking through peoples experiences and what role I think I would like best. OH and the housing! Everything about the program just seems so amazing!! I'm gonna stick with the DL one.. maybe move to DW next semester but Anaheim is closer to home! But I do think the bibbidi bobbidi boutique would but fun to work at.. thats Florida right?

Another question!! (I dont remember how to start a new thread.. but i guess i dont need one) How many people actually get rejected from the program? I read on here theres limited space but it doesnt seem too hard to get into?

From what i understand getting excepted isnt that difficult. I dont think they have a set numberof people but at the same time they do have a general number of college programers. definantly let me know how the audition goes.

I'm actually a senior at WSU but one of my best friends on the program was from Edmonds! I didnt get credit but i could have if i would have made different arangements. I was a semester ahead in credits so i didnt really need them. I plan to audition for entertainment this spring and go back to orlando in the fall

Thats so exciting!! So I've been looking allll day for late start classes to take so Anaheim doesn't reject me but I can't find any so I might be in Orlando March if I get in.. But now I have to wait like two weeks to find out! shoot.. The only bad thing about going to Orlando is that I have a lot of people I know in Cali.. No one in Florida.. BUT Disneyworld is amazing so who cares right?!?! The Florida program seems to have so much more to offer...

I didn't know anyone either. Through facebook I found out a girl was going who worked across the mall from me so we met before we went down and are great friends now. Most people who go don't know anyone. Since everyone lives and works together you make friends. I have 2 best friends at home (one is the one I got to know on the program), one in Illinois, one still in florida, two in Missouri, and one in tennesse. The best thing is that I have people to talk to about missing the program since no one at home gets it.

actually you can only apply for one at at time. Maybe call the recruiter and see if you can change it. Or just plan to do it in the fall after you graudate. I loved being there for the fall because of all the holidays.

So if they don't accept me for the January program in Cali I can't apply for the March program in Florida? Shoot that sucks..:(

I don't think so. The march program is considered in the same season as the Jan. program. The recruiter should have told everyone during the presentation that you can't apply for both programs at the same time. You should have her/his e-mail address on a paper that was handed out at the presentation. If you can't change which one you are applying for you can always apply for the fall season when recruiting is going on next semester

Orientation

Does anyone know what I"m supposed to wear to orientation?! I dont know if it should be professional or casual or a mix of both... I don't want to make a bad first impression!! I can't decide if I'm excited or nervous! Is anyone in Anaheim for the spring semester yet? :)
