Disneyland Character Look-alikes

I need help in this area. You see, I am very excited to audition for a character sometime soon, and I was wondering something. I currently do not LIVE in California.. and I do not plan on exactly, making my life permanant there.

I have always wanted to just stay there during the summer and work then. Is there a such thing as a.... Dorm? Or something where some of the characters stay? Has anyone been a character and stayed somewhere in the Disneyland hotel or something? That's all I need to know!

Well, I suppose you COULD stay in a Disney hotel...but it would cost a pretty penny, even with CM discount. There are dorms at WDW, but they are only for College Program, CareerStart, and International Cast Members. Otherwise, you're pretty mush on your own for housing.

All I know, is that I thought WDW Face Auditions were hard and strict about looks...I hear that Disneyland's are 10x harder.

I know I could get in. Even if not the first time around, I know I can.A

All I need to know is, when I get in, where I can live. I would only do a seasonal job, which is, just stay for the summers.

You seem pretty confident. Not to question your confidence or sound like a nasty girl, but how do you "know" you can get in? It's not as easy as it seems.

Oh I'm not saying that I'd 100% sure get in. I'm just trying to be confident. Like you said. I'm not saying "I would get in" as in "I will DEFINIETLY be a character because my mailman knows the casting director!" Or something like that. I'm just saying that I am very appreciative of my looks for the character, and think I most likely have what it takes. Just want to assure myself. And like I said, even if it's not the first time around for my audition, I'll keep auditioning. Sorry if you thought otherwise! I didn't mean to sound like a jerk or whatnot.

LOL it's okay. It's just i've been to a ton of face auditions and i've seen people get their hopes up before because they've been "told" by people they look like (enter princess name here). But definitely keep trying, persistance is definitely awesome, and remember even if they don't pick you the first time around or at all, it doesn't mean you're not pretty. A lot of people don't seem to grasp that factor

Yeah, I know not to believe things THAT assumingly. (OH MY GOSH, MY HALF BLIND GRANDMA TOLD ME I LOOK 'ZACTLY LIKE BELLE IN THIS GOLD TANK TOP OMG!!!!)

But yes, this summer we fly to Disneyland for like, my fifth time, and we are going to stop into the casting office. Basically the trip is just to walk around and see everyday work-life. I'm hoping for the best!
