Disneyland sent out a press release today saying what they are going to be offering for the Christmas season. What was left off the list was the rumored Frozen offerings in Hollywood land and the Jingle Cruise. The stuff that is coming back include Viva Nivadad, World of Color Winter Dreams, It's A Small World holiday, Believe in Holiday Magic, and the Frozen Ice Rink in Downtown Disney. What are your thoughts on this? Do you think they will make another announcement later or are the rumors false?

The rumors are not false. They had public auditions for the new Frozen show last month. They won't be marketing the Frozen stuff as part of the holidays, because it will be in place indefinitely after the holidays end; it will get its own announcement.

When will WoC Winter Dreams commence? Just after Thanksgiving?
I'll be out there the second week of Dec. and hope to see it again!
Also, can we expect any changes from last year? I thought that this was supposed to be a "living" production...

Winter Dreams will start with the Holidays on November 13. Haven't heard if there will be any changes this year - hoping it's the same as last year, as I can't imagine the show being much better. If anything, there'd be MORE Frozen.

Thanks!
I would imagine that they would have "tweaked" it a little bit since last year based on feedback for their first ever completely unique WoC show??
Anyhow, while it wasn't my favorite (I enjoy the diversity of the standard WoC slightly more), it was a nice change of pace!
I'm excited to hear what happens when the show kicks off again!

The only thing is that...guest feedback isn't really considered. ;) Now Disney execs - that's feedback that the Creative Entertainment team has to implement when it's given. I'm not anticipating many big changes since the show was so well-received last year, but we'll see.

MiceAge was indeed correct - the Frozen offerings will begin December 20.

Fascinating! Miceage detailed why this was such an unusual time to launch a major new thing like this.

But still, I can't think of anything else that's launched/opened four days before Christmas.

TDA is really serious about pushing the AP visitation into the slow January/February timeframe. Smart business move on their part.

Yeah, it's REALLY an out there time for a new product launch. I'm glad TDA is willing to experiment, especially as crowd flow has changed so much in the past 10 years.
