Hi Everyone,

For those of you that remember or ever used a website and ftp server of www.projectdisney.com will know how much media was on there from peoples contributions, unfortunately, earlier on in the year the site was bombed and all information was lost.

So, we're going to try it all again with the help of everyone, the servers have plenty of space and bandwidth (around 50gb a month) and ready for your help

It came online first this this morning so it's very quiet at the moment but i'm hoping that with everyones help, we can get an even bigger collection of media for you to upload and download to.

To access our FTP server, you will first need to download an FTP client, we recommend the following or use your own:

ftp://ftp.ipswitch.com/install/ws_ftple6.exe


Once downloaded and installed, run the program and create a new account by putting in the following details:


Profile Name: disneycastmembers
Hostname / Address: ftp.salemnet.co.uk
Host Type: Automatic Detect
User ID: disneycastmembers@salemnet.co.uk
Password: zippy


Once done, you should be able to connect and upload / download as you wish. If you have any other problems, please let me know.

I only see a directory called incoming - is there a downloads directory too? Also, when I try to upload I get an access denied message.

If your still having trouble with the client, then we now have a java ftp client, save you having to download anything new,

I realized what I was doing wrong... I was logging in anonymously (even though I populated the username/password part of the site config, it was still setup as anonymous login.)

works great now!
