I was thinking that WDW 50th anniversary isn't too far away. Now we know that the castle will probably get an overlay, so I came up with my own idea. It's simple yes, but I didn't want to take away from the castle.
So, What do you think?

Give us some background / reasons for your overlay. (i.e. why the swirls, etc.) Just curious.

The swirls are there to represent the magic and imagination that the Castle, and all of Disney World, represents. The reason I went simple was because I didn't want to take away from the over all feel of the castle. I kind of wanted it to look almost like it did on Oct 1, 1971. I do feel that he top half of the castle should have a little more than just the gold trim, but I don't want to make it tacky. I'm thinking maybe a Tinkerbelle on the top turret, but I'm not sure yet. Any suggestion on the top half would be appreciated.

I like it. But with everything Disney has done with 25th and Disneyland's 50th, I have the feeling they won't be so suddle. (sp?)
