Disney World The Week Before The Week Of Christmas

We are trying to pick a date for a 2016 trip to Disney. 3 or 4 Adults will be going and only one has never been if that matters at all. We were considering the week before the week of Christmas so like between 5/10 and 5/16 after my sister is done with her finals week so that she can go too, but how bad are the crowds during this time? I should say how were they in the past, since it seems the crowds have been pretty high this fall?

I would choose the week before the week of Christmas. It's our favorite time to be at WDW. The few weeks before Christmas is when we go the most often. Great weather usually but can be very cold or warm just never know, crowds are managable, and just the overall atmosphere this time of year is awesome with so much great stuff to do and see.

It starts getting really busy from around the 19th. I wouldn't recommend being there at that time. So anytime before that in December is about as good as you can do at Christmas in terms of crowds.
