Disney World Photography Alphabet

Hi all,

I am embarking on a personal project - while I’m not a photographer myself, a close friend is and he recently completed a full year journey to photograph images around New York City that looked similar to the letters of his family’s last name. For example, the Statue of Liberty was an “I”.

Given our family’s love of Disney, I thought it would be awesome to have something similar but only using photographs we take in Disney World specifically. For example, spaceship earth/the Epcot ball would be, “o”. My ask to this community…

1- have you ever come across a similar project completed for the entire Disney alphabet?

2- Any ideas for the alphabet A-Z throughout WDW? My gameplan is to track these and work on getting them photographed during our next few trips over.

Thanks - I actually went through that before I posted. It’s a fun thread but people use photos that represent a letter. “Q is for queue”…and it’s an image of a line. Etsy has some options but many for Disneyland unfortunately.

I’ve been pulling a few of my favorite shots from this thread to cycle through on my nixplay frame at home. It’s such a fun way to keep the Disney vibe going between trips. Some of the letters had me digging through old albums, especially for unique angles of the attractions. Love seeing everyone’s creativity—it’s giving me a bunch of ideas for what to include in my next park photo walk.
