I am wondering if anyone knows when Disney World will release its park reservations for 2024. Currently, it ends on January 18, 2024. Thanks in advance.

I totally agree. It's been a nightmare so far. Thanks for the reply.
Deep breathes folks, summer of 2024 is 14 months away, and parks will undoubtedly not fill up quite that fast. I'm planning my 2023 August trip and every park has availability, I'll probably reserve with no issue next month.

Exactly what is causing the concern (real question)? Are you concerned thepark you want will have no more availability?

I agree and dont understand why people stress about park reservations so far out.

To be clear, I can't stand the park reservation system. Mainly due to the 2 pm.park hopping rule. But unless it's a major Holliday, you can get a park reservation at all the parks within few days. It's not that critical.

Honestly, here is MY MAJOR problem with it.
On our last trip we bought 7 single park days for 3 weeks in Orlando.
Those 7 days only gave us 10 days to pre-book.
With little kids we only go every other day. They should be giving 14 days or more to pre book your park days when you buy 7. Basically double giving you ample time to rest between park days.

When we were rebooting after those 10 days, Kindgom and Studios were sold out in mid Oct.

It's crazy.....it should always be first come first served.....you want to get in, wake up.

The reservation system is in place for one reason, to save TWDC money with staffing. That's it......its BS that they are trying to spin this off as a customer centered idea.

Also, lay off on all of the extra hours ticket events. It sends huge crowds to the other parks when MK closes early. Enough with the money grabs already its getting insane.

I suspect it isn’t a “major concern” as much as wanting to get the parks booked having booked their vacation.
Everything you read before and after booking says “check / make your park reservations”. So they really should have 2024 open as soon as they start selling 2024 vacations.

I completely agree that the park reservations system is BS. Your situation is a prime example .

My post was just referring to people worrying about getting a park reservation or trying to make a park reservation 10 months out.

I do like the After Hour events tho. Not the ones that close the park early like Boo yo You, but the actual after hours where you get a nearly empty park from 9pm to midnight.

IMO they should drop the reservation system but change the way tickets are purchased. Make it so you have to do each park once before you can do it a second time.

Example, if you bought 7 day tickets you can only do MK once in the first 4 days.

it maybe the same reason that they don't publish park hours that far out.

Wouldn't it be great if Disney had some incentive for making genie reservations/lightning lane for people staying on property besides booking at 7am. Perhaps, booking the evening before. 7am is pretty early to make reservations for rides. Do you agree?

At least with Fast Passes, people only had to get up one day so early rather than their whole vacations to make reservations for rides. , ,

Why should people have to do every park?
