Hi! I just found out that I'm going to be going to Disney World for my birthday (I'm a Halloween baby :fork: lol). I'm soo excited! I have a few questions though. I'll be turning fourteen by the way.:)

1. How crowded are the parks around Halloween?

2. Since it's my birthday, will anything special happen for me?

3. How are the parks decorated. Are any rides altered for the holiday?

4. How will the weathet be? Will I be able to take a swim?

Thanks for any answers!! I can't wait! :p

As our anniversary is Oct. 28, we typically go to WDW around that time of year. The parks are NOT crowded (5 minute waits for most rides). The Food and Wine fest should be ongoing and even though you can't take advantage of the wine, the food stands are always fun!!

Since it's your birthday, you can head to guest services for a Happy Birthday pin....or you may even get one at your hotel, if they know it's your birthday. Anyway, it may get you some extra stuff like fastpasses and the like.

The parks are decorated for Halloween. They look really great. If you stay long enough, you may even see the parks decorated for Christmas (which happens during the first week of November).

As for the weather, it could be a little chilly....for Florida. In fact, I don't recall riding Kali River Rapids the last couple of years due to the temperature and likelyhood of getting wet.

Enjoy your trip.

The weather can be chilly, or sweltering. I have seen both in the last few years.

Lines should be fairly minimal.

If you plan on doing anything Halloween related on Halloween, plan in advance. That is usually the first MNSSHP to sell out, and then the people who can't get tickets, end up going to DTD for Trick or Treating.

MK is decorated for Halloween, but not so much at the other parks. And the best decorations for Halloween (not to mention shows and parades and fireworks) are party exclusives, so if you want the full experience, make sure to take advantage of that. I think its worth the extra cash to go.

Hey! I am a Halloween baby too! :ROFLOL:

I went last year, not on Halloween, but the second week of October, and we went to the MNSSHP. The parks are decorated so cool! And you will be able to swim, we had a great day at TL while there.

You will have so much fun. For me it was the combination of two of my favorite things, Halloween and DISNEY!
