Hi everyone!

Well its been 5 months since my disney trip back in December for my fantastic honeymoon!

We've been looking at going in summer 2013- as I work in a college and have to book holidays when the students break up.

The prices are soo ridiculous! I just don't know how we could afford to go?

Its looking at the moment about 1800 for 2 weeks with tickets and the meal deal for free. But although I know its good deal, I just dont think we can find the money- which is rather depressing.

we want to go in a group of 5.. me and my hubby. My mum, dad and brother.. and its just looking bad!

Then- after my nice holiday, we might think about trying for a baby!!

Anyway.. just wanted to voice my frustration! Just wanted 1 more nice family holiday before staring my own family.... !

Right there with you. I went to WDW ayt the beginning of December and haven't been back since. By now, I would have gone to the World at least once with another trip coming soon, but I started a new job in March and haven't been able to plan one. I did go to Disneyland in February, but I'm due for a trip to WDW. I'm going to Orlando emorial Day weekend to visit Universal, but have decided to do a day trip to Disney because it's been so long.

In fact, this is the first time in years where I don't have a reservation for an upcoming trip at Disney.

Ok.Please Explain.

What does £1800 get you? Is this a package holiday with flights, resort, tickets, etc.and per person.Curious as ever, please explain. For example, for us this year flying from Glasgow to Sanford on a package holiday in July and staying at PORS with free DDP for three adults on a 14 day vacation with a 14 day ultimate park hopper ticket and includes coach transfers works out at £3,950.

Check out http://www.solana-resort.com/. We've always stayed in Disney but now that our family is growing, marriages and kids, we ALWAYS stay here. SUPER SUPER CHEAP! Amazing properties and literally 10 minutes from WDW. You will need a rental car but the $400 charge for the 2 week long rental car is worth it. TRUST ME! For what it would cost two people to stay in a value resort in Disney you can easily get 5 in one of these four bedroom houses.

Hope that helps. :) Don't be afraid to stay off property its right off the highway and the location is very quiet and nice.

Yes its a package. Virgin holidays from Man to Orlando International. Port Orleans Riverslide, flights, tickets and free meal deal.

Its working out about 9k for all 5 of us. Its because 2 in a room, is more money, :(

Was there last November. I was going to back in February but some unexpected expenses arose and forced us to cancel that. I will be going in a couple of weeks. I have seasonal passes and want to use them before the summer blackout. I would love tt go for a whole week or two like many on here but then that wouldn't leave much money for another trip for a while, so we do 3-4 short trips a year. We go on long weekends when the kids have a day off from school. Every few months I get to see the mouse.

I think if I lived in the US I would do the same. But after a 9 hour flight, its really not worth going all the way, if you don't go for at least 10 days.

It has been 2 weeks since I went and I am already in withdrawal. We are trying to wait till my daughter is older so she really gets more out of it. I personally could go every year and spend every day at Epcot of a seven day trip.

I am the definition of withdrawal right now. I was born and raised in Fl and went multiple times a year. Once married, we were stationed in FL where we still went multiple times a year. Now, we are stationed in VA for 3yrs. We've been here for 2yrs. I HAVEN'T BEEN ONCE IN 2 YEARS!!! I swear Im going to die or cake my house in Mickey! lol and Yes, I own way too many Charactered items now. lol

I have been in school for three years and haven't been since 2009, totally feeling the withdrawal right now! Fortunately scheduled to go in about 3 weeks :)

I miss WDW too. I was last there in January and am suffering from withdrawal. Listening to my WDW CDs, looking at my pictures, and watching my park DVDs help me feel better and worse at the same time. Wish I knew when my next trip is so I could start a countdown.
