Hello everyone
I was recently proposed to at MK (I am going to post the trip report with pictures soon). My fiance and I never wanted a big wedding at all but when our engagement at the park went so well, we started thinking of having a Disney wedding. They are pretty affordable, believe it or not! I have done a bit of research and we are in love! I was wondering if anyone had any advice or helpful info :)
Thanks!!

Affordable? You and I have different definitions of that!

Anyway, congratulations. I don't have any advice on Disney weddings, but if you end up having one, it will seriously be the most magical day of your life!

Congratulations!

The first thing you should do is call the Disney Wedding Team. You'll have to get your date in a year in advance, and they can help you with choosing a venue & reception location, among many other things. They are very helpful. After my research, I found WDW to be too expensive for my large wedding (250+). For a smaller wedding, the price was better. But Disney still helped me plan my wedding back in my hometown in PA. My experiences w/them were terrific.

Here's the site, and their phone is on the top right:

Once you have a date set, call the Cast Members for Disney Weddings. That is the most important thing to do first. They will guide you through the rest. I would think the second thing you need to know is the amount of people more or less you'd like to have there.
They are very sweet and helpful. :sohappy:I wish you and your fiance' the best. I couldn't think of a better place to have your wedding day.
