I have seen several threads stating that "Disney Visa said"...giving valuable and good information. Well, I have a Disney Visa and they don't say anything to me. Is there some way to sign up for Disney info, new, secrets, etc. through the credit card? Can anyone help? Thanks a lot!:brick:

There is a disney visa newsletter that is sent out. I would suggest contacting them in order to recieve the newsletter.

I'm in the same boat....I get the newsletters...no sign of a discount though....Hmmm...Maybe it depends on when your billing month ends. Mine ends the 26th of the month and then I receive a bill by the 1st. Although it really doesn't affect me because I'm not visiting WDW again until January. Hopefully there will be something for that time, too.

You're right, it didnt say anything in the newsletter (Although I am really excited about the new Ariel card design :lookaroun).

However, I got an e-mail from Chase about the new deal (which, according to them, is set to be released to the general public on the 17th) earlier today.

Try signing up so that they email you these alerts. Chase isnt bad about spamming you every day or anything. Or at least, that isnt my experience with them.

Hey,
I felt that same way! I read the newsletter and found no indication of the discount. I then read on another website and here about the Disney Visa Discount:veryconfu What gives? I looked on there website under Disney offers and there's no indication of anything, so I'm still a bit confused and I haven't heard anything solid as to what exactly the discount is, only that it's a pretty sizable amount of money.

I was totally thrilled about the Ariel card design, also. I immediately called to order it, since that is what my newsletter said that I could do. Well, they told me that the card won't be available until the middle to the end of September. So my question is, why put out the design in the newsletter and not give any indication that it isn't available yet?

I am not so keen on all of these Disney Visa *secrets*. I would like to feel more in the loop.:D

Well, I dont have the newsletter anymore, but I am almost positive that they mentioned that the new designs were not going to be available until September. I remember reading it, and being bummed that I would have to wait and get it.

Try signing up for email alerts. That's how I found out about the offer.

If you go to www.chase.com/disney and set up a login and password, you can find a number of "discounts" that change from time to time. I've also received inserts in my billing statements with Disneyland, Disney World, and Disney merchandise discounts. And, as mentioned, the newsletter always includes a few discounts (tickets to Tarzan, special pins, etc.). I would recommend the website, though, as that may be the most thorough source for all the discounts possible.

Monday night I saw the posts on several websites regarding the Disney Visa Discount. I checked the Chase website but there was (and still is) no mention of the discount so I called Chase directly on Tuesday. The man I spoke to had no idea what I was talking about and said not to pay attention to the websites. Once I returned home and was able to log in to my email I saw the email from Disney Rewards regarding the discount. I'm not sure why they say it is an "advance purchase for cardmembers" if they aren't going to post it on their "current offers" section of their website. You must have to be set up for email alerts to receive this info.

Again, I know the Chase website thoroughly. No offers with this promo are listed. No email alert, NOTHING!!! I even double checked to see if I am signed up for email alerts, and I am. What gives?:veryconfu

And by signing up to use the website you can check your Reward Dollars and reload your card. I always check out the discounts and they will also email you when your payment is due in 10 days and then again when it has posted.
