Does anyone know where i can find out with specials there are for Disney card holders? Also if anyone knows when do the specials get announced?

I have a theory that they mail the best Disney dollar offers to people after they book a vacation package. Mind you, I have absolutely nothing to substantiate this, however, after I booked my trip last year I received a card offer for $200 Disney dollars after my first purchase. I know of some friends that received the same. May just be a coincidence - but you never know!

I just checked the rewards website - no current offers for Disneyworld for vacations - just the standard EPCOT meet & greet and 10% off $50 purcase at Disneystore. If you're looking to apply for the card, the rewards website offers $15 Disney Dollars after first purchase and the Disney website is offering $40.

You mean lodging discounts? I seem to recall getting emails, but I definitely know they usually mention them in the monthly/quarterly cardholder newletter they send out. If they are generally available to all Disney Visa cardholders. they will usually be posted on the boards once someone finds out about them. Mousesavers.com will also usually post them. As far as when they would be announced? It's tough to say. You can view historical release dates here -> http://www.mousesavers.com/historicalwdwdiscounts.html#codetrends You will noticed that occasionally there are Disney Visa discounts listed. In the past, those would tend to go out, and then a day or two later AP, then Florida Resident, and then general public. However, this year GP discounts have been going out first, with AP rates after that. They also seem to be sending AP discounts out via PIN codes well prior to the release of regular discounts. (At least I have gotten a few this way) So no way of knowing when they would go out. Normally, new discounts are released within a few days of the end of the period for the old ones. I.E. the last discount ended on 8/14, and new ones were released on 8/15.

Those should end up on the Disney Visa site also. But I don't see any posted, so there may not be any running right now. That is also where you would go to see any other discounts/services available to WDW/DLR guests, I.E. the 10% of $50 or more in merchandise purchases (which recently changed to any Disney owned/operated location, not just WoD), free meet and greet in Epcot, etc.
