Does anyone know for example on July 17th what private function closed down Disney Quest and how much did the people or corp./business etc. pay for this privilege and what exactly validates a person as a Disney VIP. For example on July 17th we were at the ESPN club and we saw a group of about 5 Japanese business men being escorted by 3-4 disney cast members. They took a quick tour of the club and walked out. We inquired who these people were, they looked pretty important and it showed disney was trying to impress them. The answer was oh they are VIP,s on a special VIP tour. Any insight. Thanks.

I'm not allowed to discuss specifics (who/what/where/when/why/how), but I can say that all of WDW is for rent... and it isn't cheap.

The only things that can qualify a guest as a Disney VIP are 3 things....

1-High Ranking Disney Exec... ie-Eisner, Pressler

2-Someone who pays for a VIP tour... any chump w/ a fat wad of cash

3-Celebrities/Invited Guests & Dignitaries. The celebs get their VIP treatment for their safety, and invited guests/dignitaries get the VIP treatment, since they were personally invited

well... and if it takes Disney away from a situation w/ potential liability, then they do that too

Ooooooh, that sounds awesome! What a birthday party that would make!

Hey, maybe we could all start a WDWMagic.com rent MK fund. . .:D

I forgot the figures. Use to be 75k-100k to rent a park. And if you do have pay Disney for the VIP tour, you still don;t get backdoor access. Well unless you are a celebrity.
