Disney UK - ticket price Increase

Disneys UK web site has increased ticket prices in response to the £ weakening against the $. The price for a 2008 adult 14 day ticket has gone up by £4 from £175 to £179. Despite the increase the site still offers the cheapest tickets to UK travellers (that I know of)

Check out the web site here.

Really interesting.

I wonder if they calculated this based on our-post collapse dollar, or if this is some sort of economic reaction to lure the European traveler over...

Obviously I need to keep up on my exchange rates if I want to keep writing on the forum:)

Thanks for the info. I'm actually pretty surprised that the increase is only £4. When I read the title I expected something closer to £15 or more.

As you said, it's still a pretty good deal for us UK folk!

I've been monitoring the prices of UK 14 day passes on several websites for nearly 12 months now  - twelve months ago the prices dropped the nearer to Christmas it got - £147 was the cheapest.

One website put their prices up by £10 yesterday and another site has them at £209 - over £30 dearer than Disneys site.

It wasn't that long ago that Disneys tickets were the second dearest site on the net
