Ok, here's the story guys! My sister and I are planning a trip to WDW. Chances are, if we plan it all out, the parents will pay and take us this summer :animwink: Now, here's the question. About how much do you pay for a trip for 4 people on average? And where do you get airline tickets and the like for good deals? Do you suggest we stay in Disney or out of it? You know, about how much on average is this gonna cost us? Thanks, all! :king: :sohappy:

You don't state your location but I'll guess in the US.
In the UK to be sure of flights, especially at peak times, you need to book early (15 months for my next trip) and this means paying full price. Late fly-drive packages are always available - the later you book the cheaper the prices - all you need then is to find accomodation. If you want to be sure book everything early.
Accomodation - well you can stay on-site at WDW but their rooms are more expensive. Although the All Star resorts are cheaper than the bigger hotels along the International Drive area.
Staying off property - don't forget to budget for a rental car, fuel to & from the parks each day & parking fees. Then you'll be miss out on early entry to the parks.
You can also book flights, tickets, accomodation over the net

In short, there are too many permutations (and not enough room) to give a proper reply here. Get yourself to a travel agent (making sure that you have sufficient time) and let them earn their money and go through all the possibilities.......you have the easy job - you just need to decide

This summer Disney is offering a really good discount so that should help sucker your parents into going. Also, the best price on airline to Orlando I have found is Spirit Airlines (www.spiritair.com) but they only depart from a few cities.

Good luck, when I was a kid I did this all the time. One time I did everything my parents asked and got good grades and as a reward my parents took me to WDW when I was about 10.
