Disney Triathlon - experiences?

Hi everyone,
I'm a long-time WDW fan, but I'm new to this board - I hope I'm posting in the right area.
Anyhoo, I'm going to be competing in the Disney Triathlon on Sept 26, and I was wondering if anyone's ever done any of the Disney Tri's (or any of the big sporting events at wdw for that matter). If anyone has any advice/ observations/ suggestions for either myself or spectators (I have my family coming - yay!), I'd greatly appreciate it.

I can remember being at Disney about a year or so ago, and we were staying at one of the resorts on the edge of Bay Lake. I woke up one morning to look outside and saw a bunch of people gathered for an event, finding out it was the triathalon! it was interesting to watch, and from what i remember it was kind of chilly that day, so be sure to let your family know to pack a sweater or the like esp. of they are going to be in the audience. From what i saw it was very well organized, so you should not have many problems, if any at all.

I set a pr of 3:14 in the '96 Marathon. But i've never done a triathlon. Good luck with it, and give us a review afterwards if you get a chance.
