Has anyone done any of the many tours that disney offers? Eg: behind the scenes tour?

Tix are expensive on top of already paying admission prices. Do you think they are worth it?

Behind the Seeds tour at EPCOT are $12 per adult (5% off if you use your Disney Card) if you're into gardening or alternative growing methods. You get to feed the fish and release ladybugs. It's about 35-45 minutes long, real informative and worth the price.

Over the years we have done all the tours offered (except for the safari tour at AK) and some of them twice.
We have found that they are well worth the price and are booked for the Back-Stage full day tour again this year since we are bringing a guest along with us this year who has only been to DW once.

I did the Keys to the Kingdom Tour and thought it was worth it. I already knew most of what the guide talked about but I did learn some things. It was fun and would consider doing it again.

I've done Keys to the Kingdom and Behind the Seeds. Both were well worth the price and time. Both of them show a little of the behind the scenes type of stuff. Keys included the utilidoors, which were neat yet unexciting at the same time.

Keys To The Kingdom was worth it. Lots of fun little things. Plus you got to jump the queue on several rides which was nice

BTS is a great value IMO, that's right Disney offering a value, its hard to believe I know but I think its true. Our Disney visa gets us 15% off the tours too. We've done BTS twice and loved it.

We've also done the Aqua Seas tour twice and loved it! I'd highly recommend the Aqua Sea Tours experience. Disney Visa will get you 20% off this tour.

The tours I have taken were worth the money. Having been to WDW many times I wanted to do something different and didnt mind taking the time away from rides in the parks. Having read a lot on the parks and Disney history, they didnt WOW me with much I didnt already know, but did sneak in some great personal stories and fascinating tid bits that kept my interest throughout the tours. If you have the extra funds and time to go, you wont be disappointed.

I really liked the Marceline to Magic Kingdom tour. You get a few rides, tour Main Street, etc. pretty inexpensive if you use an AP or Visa discount. I also liked the Undiscovered Future World, long tour, more expensive but you got a reserved spot for Illuminations that night.
