Walt Disney Pictures/Touchstone Pictures have released their 2005 Preview and we've got the big line-up in the ComingSoon.net Film Database. To view the production stills, artwork, and new info on each film, just click on the titles below:

Included in their preview for next year are the James Cameron IMAX documentary Aliens of the Deep, James Franco's Annapolis, the Pixar-animated Cars, the animated comedy Chicken Little, the adaptation of C.S. Lewis' classic The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, the Jennifer Connelly thriller Dark Water, the Jodie Foster thriller Flight Plan, the Josh Lucas biopic Glory Road, the golf drama The Greatest Game Ever Played, the Lindsay Lohan action-comedy Herbie: Fully Loaded, the sci-fi comedy The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, the Michelle Trachtenberg romantic comedy Ice Princess, the Ashton Kutcher and Amanda Peet-starrer A Lot Like Love, the Vin Diesel family comedy The Pacifier, the animated Pooh's Heffalump Movie, the adaptation of Steve Martin's novella Shopgirl, the superhero comedy Sky High, Heath Ledger's Untitled Casanova Project, and the Untitled Mars Project for IMAX.

Not much of a lineup, I'd have to say. :(

Oh, and a Vin Diesel FAMILY COMEDY? :veryconfu

i finally saw a commercial for Flightplan (I say finally b/c a friend of mine has been saying how she is dying to see it but i didnt know what it was about!)-- so i did a search to see if anyone on this board knew it and this is all i got! A thread from a year ago! Anyway, this post is good-- it has a bunch of movies I saw and a bunch I want to see-- figured we could all discuss this!

What I've Seen:
Herbie: Fully Loaded
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
A Lot Like Love
Sky High

What I Really Want To See:
Chicken Little
Narnia
Flightplan (obviously!)
Untitled Mars Project for IMAX
Shopgirl (may be my most anticipated film so far!)
Greatest Game Ever Played

Anyone else?? What have you seen from that list (from a year ago!)? What are you looking forward to?

Why is James Cameron making so many sunken ship and deep sea documentaries? They're good, but I miss his action flicks like the Terminator movies and the Abyss.

The ones I know the most about on that list are Flightplan, The Greatest Game Ever Played, and SHopgirl-- but I am looking forward to several other ones...

Flightplan- looks like a pschological thriller in which Jodie Foster goes to sleep on a plane with her daugther, wakes up, and her daughter is gone and the entire crew claim they have no recollection of her daughter ever being on the plane. jodie foster believes its some conspiracy and searches the entire plane

Greatest Game Ever Played- based on a true story about a young boy who came from a poor family but ends up playing golf so well that he competes in the US Open against very respected and talented golfers. sort of an underdog story like Seabiscuit

Shopgirl- (i read the book so I know the story) a young somewhat depressed girl further discovers herself through her dating of two different men: Ray Porter (Martin) who is a successful, wealthy, older man who woos her with money and gifts or Jeremy, a unique free spirited kid who has no direction. Will probably be darker than Martin's other films, but still enjoyable to see him in a new role

I just saw a comercial for that today, still haven't seen/heard anything about the others yet

Probably becasue Flightplan is next in line to be released-- it comes out in a few weeks and Greatest Game comes out the weekend after that. Shopgirl doesn't come out until near the end of October -- I am sure more commericals will air as time goes on. Trust me though, you will probably want to see them all!

I would figure as a Disney fan though you would have seen something for Chicken Little-- only becasue it is the next new character that I am sure is already all over the parks. Plus, they have released tons of little animated things with him...have you seen any of those?

Chicken Little is def on my list too. It looks too cute. I guess I haven't seen any commericals lately-- but they have been doing some other promotional stuff. I saw this on Yahoo http://movies.yahoo.com/feature/chickenlittle.html

It just has a bunch of the characters. There have been a few other things too. But again, it doesn't come out until Novemeber, so I am sure commercials will pick up around then.
