I think that gentleman is asking why Al Weiss is allowed to run WDW into the ground while DL sparkles. (at least I hope he is)......I'm bad, I know! ;-)

Great. Just what evreybody who went to the MK today wanted to do. Shake hands with some slimy, greasy corporote executive weasel.

They aren't weasles. They aren't out there to scam everybody. They are out there to run a buisness and there is nothing wrong with running buisnesses.

But besides that, if I was there, I would beg Bob Iger to greenlight Beastly Kingdomme, and provide money to fund new Hitchhiker's Guide movies even if the first movie flops.

I don't care what DL and/or Mouseplanet claims, skippers at the Jungle Cruise will never adhere to a script. There is no way that anyone can stop the skippers from improv. Once the boat leaves the dock, the rules are gone. As long as they don't cross the line, they don't get in trouble. Unless the managers monitor the boats (which isn't gonna happen), there is artistic freedom.

Too bad I wasn't there I would have done some begging for all of us. COP to stay,SGE to be fixed, rehabs on classics, Tarzan Rocks to stay (well thats for some of us), beastly kingdom to become a reality, ect. Not to mention I would have mentioned to them to check sites like this to see what there doing right, what there doing wrong, and what they should be doing.(yes i would beg on my knees for the sake of COP) ;-)

To me it seems that John Lassiter was riding numerous times and once seen flipping through the script leads me to believe that he may be polishing the script. I know he works for Pixar, but John seems like the kinda guy that would do it if asked. Maybe thats why Tony Baxter was with him. We shall see.

There is absolutely no problem running a buisness - huge problem running it the THE WRONG way (Al Weiss)

And Brent, I am not sure those guys know there is an attraction called "CoP" They might think that is a ride based on a tacky FOX TV Show.

At least Eisner stayed away!

I applaude the gesture. How often did Mr. Eisner do this during his reign? I just hope this is not a once in a career thing for these execs. Listen, be seen and interact with your guests. It's amazing how far it'll go... :sohappy:

The Jungle Cruise improv can be done very well, but it depends on the skipper. I recall one time during my June 04 trip we had a young man who looked like a CP'er. He was by far the most original skipper I had ever listened to. Very funny as well.

It's good to see the top brass out in the park. Weiss still looks like a puppet to me. :)

Just what we needed, another Meet & Greet in the MK :brick:

 That made me laugh!

Seriously, though, it is good for the execs to spend time in the parks, talking to real people and absorbing the atmosphere. Just ditch the suit coats and trousers. I know that they own some casual clothes. (I would hope.)
