First off the name of the band thing, back in 92 when they were playing gigs in Virginia, a promoter at a club they were playing at for the first time asked for the name of the band and Leroi the saxophone player said just but Dave Matthews Band as the name and thats how the name came along.
Secondly all Dave does is give the other guys credit, every interview he's done in the last 2 years is about how these guys are so much talented and the band wouldn't be where it was today without them. During his solo tour and promotion for his solo record all Dave talked about was how much he was looking forward to writing and recording the new record with the band, and how he wanted more bass on the next album, more drums on the next record, more sax on the new record, more violin on the next record, he gives the guys in the band more credit all the time over him.
You can hate the band and Dave all you want, its your opinion but damn get your facts straight.
