Disney to build NEW THEME PARK in CHINA!

I came across this article. Disney is working with China to build a 3+ Billion dollar theme park by 2014!

I'm not sure I agree with them on this one.

Personally, I would want them to focus on the parks they already have, including the lack-luster Hong Kong Disneyland before they build more.
I don't want them becoming a Six Flags like franchise.

Although, I guess this park is going to be pretty good.

It's Disney's goal right now to plunge into the Chinese market and building the 5th Magic Kingdom there will be just the beginning.

If you're worried about Hong Kong DL, then Shanghai is very far away from Hong Kong, farther than from DL to WDW.

DL to WDW = 2500 miles. My guess on Shanghai to Hong Kong is 1000 (but that's a guess). Anybody know for sure?

Google Earth puts it at around 765 miles. My mistake.

DL to WDW according to Google Earth is about 2,171 miles.
