disney theme park in texas

Disney will not be coming to Texas.

Disney will probably not build a new park in this country, anywhere, for at least another decade. With the economy still soft, Disney has been concentrating their expansion efforts in Asia, where the economy is booming and the market for a park is 3 Billion people, instead of the 500 million that live in North America.
Plus, a resort in Texas would compete directly with WDW. So, from a sane business view, another park or complex in the US will probably never happen.
And since I'm from the Northeast and will never have a Disney park within 1000 miles of my house, going to Florida, where it is humid and in the 90s, instead the interior of Texas (where the cheapest land would be) with temps in the 100s-110s, I'm not going to complain.:drevil:
