Disney Theme Park in Italy??

Greetings all! :wave:

I was watching an episode of Pawn Stars on History Channel last night and some old lady sold a collection of what looked like crystal or glass Disney character statues that were supposed to be sold or advertise a proposed Disney theme park in Italy????

Never heard of that before? Anyone know anything about it?

I saw that episode too and I have some question about this proposed or supposed Italian theme park. Perhaps, the figurines were something that was produced through the Italy Pavillion in EPCOT at one time.
Also, did you note that when "the Old Man" was looking through the figurines that he had The Blue Fairy in his hand and said it was Tinker Bell? Probably just something that a serious Disney fan would pick up on; no disrespect intended to the senior member of Pawn Stars.

I thought of the Italy pavilion at Epcot as well and yes I noticed that too

There is a division of Disney Studios in Italy that was founded in 1938.
