I applied at the Disney Store at my local mall today. I'm just looking to pick up some extra cash. Can anyone tell me if this is a good/fun place to work? Are the perks good? Any pointers for my interview?

I dont wrk at one but have a freind who does. Just be yourself and be disney like and you'll be fine. If they dont hire you just tell them that jay rod doesnt want to have to come up there and bring out the can of whoop

They might ask you who your favorite Disney character is, so be prepared with a really good answer.
I worked at my local Disney Store for awhile in 1996. It was fun but sort of ruined the magic of the place for me.

I don't know what they do for the stores, but I applied at the Tampa res. center. One part of the interview they put a Disney character beanie toy in front of you, and you have to sell that character. Not sell it as a toy, but the character itself. They might do the same at the store too.
