The Disney Store isn't owned by Disney anymore so I don't think the employees get any CM discounts anymore.

As a recent TDS CM, I can answer this. The Cast Members of the Disney Store are eligible for three, one-day complimentary park hopper tickets per year. These tickets expire on January 31 of the year they are issued. I don't believe there is any time requirement to be able to get the tickets. However, there are no other discounts available. If you would like to take advantage of this benefit, see your manager at least one month prior to your trip.

It's owned by The Children's Place.

Yep, Disney store has been owned by children's place for some time now. Japanese stores were sold in 2002 and here in the US and Canada in November 2004

Disney was losing money on the stores I believe.

When I worked at a Disney Store it was still owned by Disney. You get a discount on Disney Store merchandise but not merchandise is you were to go to a theme park.

The Disney Store stopped being what it used to be about 7 years ago.

I used be a TDS supervisor... I miss my store, but nothing beats my job now.
