I have never purchased stock before....

Where would you advise a novice to check, for information about Disney Stock, and how/where to purchase it...Should I randomly search the Internet ? Thanks.

Purchasing stock

My husband and I just came back from Disney World and one of the bus drivers was telling us it is a good time to buy Disney stock now because the prices are still low. He told us in four years Michael Eisner will be retiring and that won't be a good time to buy stock. We have never bought any shares of stock, and would be interested if someone does reply to your question. I wonder what are the mininum numbers of shares you can buy?

We own a few shares (25 or so) that havn't done too well over the past few years (down about 35%). I keep telling myself that I should buy more now while it's down but I'm a chicken. I tend to leave things alone once I've got them. My father-in-law bought Disney stock back in the early 90's and sold it in the late 90's for a decent profit. As they say, buy low sell high.:hammer:

You can buy as little as one share. Go to Etrade and open an account. You can research any stock you want and purchase from one share up to $25,000 a day.
