Disney Stock...Question

Just wondering what the current stock price is and also wondering out loud:

Would it be legal to organize a group of people to begin buying the stock back? ( Kind of a petition style thing, just contacting as many folks as possible throughout the country to begin purchasing the stock)

As of NYSE close on 12/05/2003, Walt Disney (DIS) was valued at $21.67.

It would be perfectly legal to organize a group to buy any amount of Disney stock. You would NEVER gain a controlling interest (if that's what you're after). Institutional investors (mutual funds) all ready control about 65% of the stock.

I was thinking of giving my Disney stock certificate back to Roy, thats right, just put it in an envelope and mail it to him.

Wouldn't it be a hoot if Roy theoretically had millions of shares of stock suddenly appear in his mail?
