For those of you who have seen it, is it worth making a special trip to go back over to Dis year Springs at night just for the trail and decorations or is it still cool during the day?
I saw it Friday night, I would not make a special trip for it. It's cool, and a welcome distraction if you are already at DS, but it's for sure not worth the trip over on it's own.
I'm a big Christmas loving person so I cant get enough of the decorations and displays that you find all over Disney property. I think the Christmas Tree Trail is different enough and worth the time viewing. The trees are wonderfully themed and Disneys added more of them. And you can purchase some select reproduced ornaments that are seen on the trees. If you want to add to the joy of Christmas... Go. I favor night time.
We have had a sort of Christmas Tree Trail displayed in our area but like everything else, it cant compare to Disneys.
I'm of the opinion the trees are underwhelming. Not big. A lot of ornaments look hand crafted... and not in the good way.
Night time is definitely better since the glaring sun reveals the eight foot fake Walmart trees for what they are. But last time, the dance party right outside the trail was blaring pop house music. I did send WDW an email of complaint. Tho, I doubt it will be different this year.
