My uncle sent me these pictures from the Marketplace dock at Disney Springs. The captain may have intentionally beached it after losing power. It then drifted into the Saratoga Springs bridge before being towed away.

This happened to us once three years ago at Port Orleans Riverside, just after we left the dock. Engine cut out within seconds of setting off. Drifted back into the walkway/bridge. It was at night and it was raining- made it feel slightly more dramatic! Didn't have to wait long till a rescue boat came and pushed us back to the dock to unload though.

That wouldn't be as fun though!

Holy Carp, No bloody anchors. When I was going for my 100 ton license anchors and backup anchors were considered BASIC SAFETY EQUIPMENT, For crying out loud even U.S. Power Squadron considers them basic equipment on a pleasure boat.

Just boggles the imagination, Not even a 30 pound danforth to prevent drifting....
