Who all has played it? I love dreamlight although once you do everything its boring to wait for the next update. Is this just mariokart with disney characters?

Nah, I think there are tons of differences between this and mario kart. I actually prefer the racing in this. Drift is completely different, but makes more sense. Plus there's much more of a focus on 1 player mode, with online multiplayer. Each character has a unique ability, and they all don't get the same things from item boxes. Also holding down the skill button vs just tapping it does different things. And the roster is going to get huge. With the way they're adding people, there's no way we're not close to kissing 50 within the first year of launch.

Half way through the Toy Story side thing so far. Its a pain trying to get the last piece to unlock Jack Sparrow though.
