When my kids were young, we'd have breakfast for dinner...Mickey Mouse pancakes!
My son is almost 24 and we STILL do Mickey Waffles LOL

I've been toying with the idea of buying the Mickey waffle maker or doing Mickey pancakes. Hmmmm...not quite for a sleepover...but maybe I could do kicked up Mickey pancakes tomorrow night. Yum!

mickey mouse rice krispies dipped in chocolate! Cant be to hard to, maybe find a mickey mouse cookie cutter and cut them out like sugar cookies. And maybe for a park feel you could stick a popsicle stick in them!
I did these for my daughter's second birthday. Kind of tedius, but maybe that is because I made over 3 dozen of them. I tend to go a little overboard. Anywho, they are really fairly basic. I plan on making some mickey shaped cookies for our drive down and maybe even some rice krispy treats.

This reminds me...I really want to try my hand at making the character apples. I've heard they are a royal pain, so maybe it's just worth waiting and paying the $10 in the parks.

I watched a YouTube video showing how to make one (real Disney making one, not a fan attempt)...

I need to run out for a bit, but when I get back I will see if I can dig it up!

Is it this one?

I also watched this one....like how she handles the sugar a bit better.

Also found rainbow Mickey apples

Still...curious to see if you've found better vids. Just like any of this stuff...it would become easier with practice and proper supplies. It's just funny...at this stage, I could probably make you a faux candy apple out of fondant, gumpaste, and modeling chocolate more easily than an actual candy apple.

I might have to make that one of my summer projects...after I get through this month's cake project.

Something I'd like to try, instead of using colored sprinkles like Disney does, is ordering floss sugar (for cotton candy) and dipping it in that.

Blue Raspberry floss sugar is addicting! Little shameful secret of mine when I worked for CEC, every now and then the kid would visit me at work when she was about 3 or so, and I'd give her a little souffle cup and pour a bit of floss sugar in it, and she'd use her finger to eat it! Sometimes, I'd snag a bit myself! Soooo good!

And now, here I am, looking on Amazon at the wide array of floss sugar readily available. And if I go back to Amazon Prime...it could be on my doorstep in 2 days! :D My only concern with floss sugar would be humidity. It's so muggy here that I have to wonder if I'd have greater issues. Still, it would be tasty!
