After reading about Disney Seas over in Japan and California Adventure over here, why is there such a big difference between the two parks? I hear Seas is fantastic but haven't heard anything good about C Adventure. Any thoughts?

DisneySeas is partially owned by Oriental Land Ltd., so they pumped extra money into the park and Imagineers came up with totally innovative rides (StormRider is one).

DCA was underfunded, it has a lot of potential, just needs more money for the Imagineers to work their magic.

Interesting. Thanks.
When I looked at a DCA guide in the bookstore, they showed where the park is in relation to Disneyland and across the street was a large lot for future expansion. Do you think it is for another park or maybe resort? Would they develop that before putting more money in DCA?

I liked CA. It had one of the neatest rides i have ever been on, Soarin' over California. Yes it could use a little more development but all of the lands are themed well and it is a small representation of the culture of california (plus they have really good food stands, not just burgers and fries)

There is definetly more in store for the Disneyland Resort. When they will start to build again who know???

Sorry, I don't know to much about DisneySeas.

Unfortunately, Disney is now building parks with "potential".....they are leaving things on the drawing board, and going with half of the stuff originally intended for the parks.

It's a money thing, and it's kinda sad.....they need to spend money to make money....if they built anything like DisneySeas over here, it would clean house.

DCA is awesome!!!

I think DCA is awesome! But it has many flaws. I went there last year in May of 2001, a few months after it opened, and I thought it was awesome! My favorite part about it was looking at it from outside the park.

DCA defintly has some great rides! California Screamin, Soarin Over California, Grizzly Peak, Maliboomer, and much more! All the rides are very unique. It is way of a better park than Animal Kingdom or Disney Studios in DLP. EPCOT, MGM, or the Magic Kingdom can beat it though. They have pure Disney magic and was made with no money obstacles intended.

DCA is is currently hosting the Electrical Parade, my favorite! It is great but it doesn't belong there. Anyone can agree with me about that!

Now, as for DisneySeas, I would KILL to have that in WDW! I have seen so many pictures of it and it kills me to think WDW doesn't have it! Disney would get millions from the park! That shouldn't even be questioned about it being in WDW! Lets hope it happens.

DisneySeas has the best rides! It has more theme than the Magic Kingdom and some people like it more! The rides are amazing and the detail is unbelievable.
