From the story:
Public service or stock price: These were the two features undergraduates overwhelmingly gravitated toward in naming their ideal entry-level employer, according to newly released results of Universum Communications' 2007 Most Desirable Undergraduate Employer ranking. The top five include two government agencies, the U.S. State Dept. (No. 4) and the Peace Corps (No. 5); two profit- and buzz-generating innovators, Google at No. 1 and Apple at No. 3; and a media conglomerate, Walt Disney at No. 2.

When I was little, I dreamed of working for Disney, it's actually what drove me to the major I'm in now (I've wanted to be an Animator since I was about 5-6).

Though now that I'm an Undergrad, it's not my top choice, and neither are any of the companies on that list. Unless Pixar is now considered part of Disney, in which case, yeah, I'm (hopefully) going to be working for Disney in the near future. :p

It is pretty cool that there are that so many people in college who are interested in working for Disney.

People may not consider it part of Disney, but it is owned by Disney.

Pixar is part of Disney, albeit it keeps its HR practices and policies separate from those of Disney

Guess this means I've got a ton of undergrad's heading my way... We're about to open a huge Goggle plant? office? something like that, about 10 minutes from my house... Crazy! I had no idea they were that desired!

You'd be surprised how many entry level hourlies at WDW have college degrees :)
