Disney has changed the resort web sit. Looks great haven't had time to look around yet.

I went to book our spring trip yesterday and the site informed me to wait until today as they were upgrading. WOW! What a huge improvement. The booking system is so much easier to understand. That snazzy graphic at the top on the main page with the music is rather neat as well.

Its probably from all of us checking it out lol

The actual part where it looks for rooms and airline tickets was rather slow but I figured that was simply heavy traffic. It did work for me earlier today though.

The site looks nice, but it is a lot of the same in the theme park sections. The front page is nice, and I like the way they are promoting the 50th...actually makes me want to go (unlike that Magical Gatherings nonsense).

That is because of the ticket system though. Make sure you are getting passes that you want (Park Hopping, Water Parks, Non Expiration). Don't forget that you personally have to add that on to every ticket now.

i think someone said on another thread that a CM said that 2day was going to be a bad day, (b/c of the Magic Your Way tix) and i think they were right, because i am having lots of trouble w/ the reservation sys.:dazzle:


also, i keep getting this message when trying to book:

I just went back on and it stated that the reservation system was down due to maintenance. IRENE: Where are you staying and for how long?

It's annoying! I've been trying to book a stay for the past week, everytime I call, I'm on hold for an hour and I can't search rates over the net!

I know it's just something we have to deal with... just think what life was like when we didn't have this thing called the internet!

I also noticed Florida residents can now get a frequent diner card where you join for a price and get discounts at restaurants across the property.

As of a couple of minutes ago, the system is still down for maintenance I guess if I still get that message this afternoon, I'll call the 1-407-wdisney number for prices.

Next WDW trip: I'm TRYING to book for July!
