Disney presents a Pixar Film

Disney/Pixar movies use to say Disney/Pixar above the title of the film. Now it says "Disney presents a Pixar film". Why the change? Also the characters from the films are also appearing in toys and games without the Disney characters. Whats going on? Disney owns the movies and the characters...dont they?

they own rights to all characters Pixar has created up through the soon to be released Cars. characters from Pixar movies after Cars will be pixars and not Disney's
