I read on another site that Disneyland Paris has announced the new Disney Premier Access, which would require guests who choose to wait in an expedited line, to pay between 8 and 16 pounds per attraction, per ride, with a limit of 3 passes per attraction, per day.
I'll forgo the whole "caste system" argument, as we know those will come; but my shock is with the cost. So someone would be willing, after spending in excess of 100 dollars per person, per park, per day (give or take, passes considered) to spend, for a family of four, a potential extra 40 or more dollars per attraction for the ability not to stand in a standby line?? Wow. If you can afford it, more power to you, but to me, that just seems insane.
Let me note that at this time, the Disney Premier Access system has not even been mentioned in the same breath as WDW. However, do you all think it is safe to assume, with the eventual return of fastpasses, that that might he the opportune time to institute such a system? All I can say is wow. I have long thought a pay for play system was on the horizon regarding fastpasses, but potentially 10-20 bucks per person, per attraction, per ride experience??? Wow. I'm speechless.
