Yes, pins are readlly available at the parks in various locations, at Downtown Disney at the pin store, online at the Disney Store. You can also trade with CM's at the parks. The color coding is found on pins at Disney locations and serves as a pricing guide.

One of the best places to look at pins in general (both available and retired) is on pinpix.com. That way you'll have some idea of what you're looking for and how hard it will be to come by. Also, if you're looking to get some rarer ones try looking in Epcot in between Innoventions East and West at the pin station. Traders often come with hundreds looking for pins. They're not like CMs so they don't have to trade but often if you want it enough they'll make a deal with you.

Try www.okeydokeygoodies.com they are showing several Mad Hatter pins for sale (some pricier than others). The pins I saw offered were from the 1951 Alice in Wonderland, not the recent Alice with Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter.

One time my brother and I bought a lot of them on ebay. He was selling them For a few dollars less then what you can buy new pins for and guarenteed them to be Disney Co. genuine pins. We actualy ended up keeping a lot of them BUT it saved a ton of money and they were all real disney pins. we were able to trade them for some cool ones.
I wouldnt reccomend this because if they are fake there is no point but in this case it did work out. We took a chance and it worked out.
