Has anyone had any luck buying Official Pins cheap to trade while at WDW?

Just happened to be checking in with our local Disney Store. The have a Winnie the Pooh set (4 characters in scarves) for $14.50. According to the store, these pins can be traded at WDW. In addition, they had some Princess Pins in a 3 pack for $14.50. These are also tradable per the store.
Question, are Disney Store pins tradable? Do they have to be traded as a set? The unoffical guide mentiones something about pin sets and trading.
Maybe a CM can weigh in on these as well.
Thanks

Just be very careful with these "bulk" pins if you intend to trade with other pin traders. You have no guarantee that these are either authentic, or scrapers, the latter being unauthorized production of Disney pins beyond what Disney has ordered and sold through other channels.
A number of scraper pins can be detected by knowledgeable pin traders (I carry a small magnifying glass with me some time when doing pin trading with other guests to check for "marks" that I can remember). This is especially true if they are cast lanyard pins, which are notorious for often being scrapers. I've had someone on time wanting to trade with me a set of cast lanyard pins from Disneyland that wasn't even released yet!
My suggestion would be to go to Dizpins and look at all the known scrapers. The list is updated continually as more known scrapers are found. Sometime, it is just a strong "kerosene" smell that gives it away (legal Disney pins that you buy do not have this odor). But in many cases, you just can't tell because they have identical markings.
So just know what you might be getting.

There is also a Fab Five Christmas set, five pins for $14.50. I've traded pins from this set and the Pooh set at the parks without any problems. They don't have to be traded as a set.
Would these be sold at a Disney Store? I have seen the section on scrappers and the ones he described (and I have bought and traded) and not packaged in the same manner. They are in plastic, but heat sealed with the Disney Store topper on the package. They are the cloisonnes with the proper markings on the back.
No. Disney Store pins are different than the ones sold at the theme parks. They are exclusively Disney Store pins.
Scrapers are the same ones you get at the parks. The ones that can be spotted usually have mistakes, errors, and wrong colors, etc. on them. Others are identical to the ones sold at the parks.
The rule of thumb here is that if you buy them from authorized Disney sources, such as theme parks, Disney Shopping, Disney Stores, etc, then these are legitimate Disney pins. If you buy them on ebay or some other websites, then there's no guarantee.
