Hey,
Maybe this has been discussed before but....
Those interactive pins for the 100th b-day. Where and how do you get them? Im goin down in 35 days, i've got my virtual pin certificate so i can get those special ones at MGM. I just wasent sure how you go about getting the interactive ones. Also has any one sent away for their disney pin you can get if you purchase a board game from parker brothers?

You can buy the interactive pins from any pin location, they are eveyrwhere, now for the one you want to get with the certificate you need to go to the pin station under the Big sorcerers hat in MGM, you buy a interactive pin, and you get a free internet pin for each one you buy. I don't know about the board game though.

Cool, I'm glad they will be everywhere. I was worried you could only get them for a short time or they would have been sold out already. Ive been collecting cast member pins online lately, some of them are so cool. I need a buddy on the inside to get me a better deal than what i've been payin. lol Thanks for the info!

Hey Fanatic, listen up, you wanna get a good deal on some of these pins? Find yourself a local pin store, and get yourself 10-20 run of the mill pins of Mickey mouse and stuff (must be disney), you can probably get them for abot 1-2 bucks each, bring them with you. When there you can trade with any castmember that is wearing a lanyard. Thye have to trade if they don't have it. Look around and get what you want. I did this and made a killing, pins in Disney run anywhere from $6.50-$15, so if you can trade you can really get a good deal. Also make sure you hold that certificate and don't buy any of the interactive pins until you get to the main pin station at MGM under the hat. For every interacive pin you buy they'll give you a free one, up to 6 with the certificate.

Have fun!!!:king:

I know they sell them in Marketplace in the room with the watches and jewelry because I bought mine there. They have them in the Main Street Emporium. They also have them in the pin trading thing in Epcot and under the hat in MGM. They are $15.09 a peice. Pretty cool.

Cast members can't trade actual cast member pins can they? I didnt think that was allowed. I got my hands on monorail pilot wings, I will never let them go.

They will trade anything on the lanyard hanging on their neck, forget about the nice gold ones on their shirt or collar. I once asked a security guard to trade me for his sheild, he just laughed at me. I want one of those!!! But yes I have gotten cast member pins from cast members, it is hard to find a cast member putting them up for trade though.

Good luck!!!

I bought 4 of the pins at World of Disney and then bought one at the Sorcerer hat to get the free pin.

This is what it looks like...

That is a nice pin, I think i may have to put away some extra cash just for pin buying. I also have to find a place around here to get pins cheaper so i can trade them.:) Thanks for that idea jcmayid.

I start putting money away for pins as soon as i get home. Every few extra dollars I have I put away in a safe place where I won't see it and think of spending it. Then after a while it adds up.
