Disney Photo Pass

I am leaving for Disney on the 19th :sohappy: and I have decided to register for Disney Photo Pass. Has anyone ever used it? Is it worth the time to get photos of the entire family without the need to enlist the help of strangers?

You will LOVE PhotoPass. The photographers will take photos of all your group individually or together and all photos taken during your visit will be stored using the PhotoPass card he gives you........then each time you have photos taken, merely have the photographer scan that card first. All of your photos will be together when you get home (or back to your hotel each evening) and you can view them online using the numbers on the card.

Even better, when you get ready to order photos, disks, photo books, or whatever, you can edit the photos online adding various borders and sayings.

We have always used PhotoPass and we have never been disappointed.

As a note, the photographers will also snap a few photos using your camera.

We used PhotoPass the first time this year and loved it! Not only did they get posed pictures of us but candid ones as we were hugging the characters or just goofing around. Then when we got home I uploaded our photos to PhotoPass as well and made a scrapbook, which is awesome. We have a candid photo of Buzz messing around with me and Woody looking on. It was hilarious and a great surprise when we got home!:sohappy:

We used photopass to buy a picture of us on Space Mountain because we didn't want to carry it around all day.

When we got home, we put our codes into the website and the picture was not there.

We filled out the form to help them find our lost photo and never even received an email back from Disney. We included the receipt number, the picture number, the cashier who helped us, the exact time and date, a description of the clothes that the riders were wearing and a photo of the riders. We are extremely disappointed and out the 15 dollars that we paid for the picture.

We won't be using photopass again, as they obviously are unable to deliver reliably. If they had bothered to email back and say 'we couldn't locate your photo' we may have tried it again. But the absence of our picture, the lack of a response to our request to find it, and the lack of a refund for the picture means no more photopass for us.

We have always used the Photopass and LOVE it!!!!!! We always buy the disc when we get home as well that way you can make as many copies of whatever pics u want. That way if something happens to one of ur pics, u can get it replaced.

Also being able to add borders and icons enhance the pictures IMO.
