Last night Disney Park Blogs had an event about Pixar Pier which discussed what they brought to Pixar Pier. Then the guests were escorted to Pixar Pier to enjoy the rest of their night. Here are some of the photos that I got from Instagram.

The panel with Imagineers said that Jingles the clown from Inside Out will make his way into Pixar Pier later on.

Jingles? Isn't the clown's name Jangles? Plus, will he be an a meet and greet character? If so, then that would be interesting. Personally, I would rather have Bing Bong.

That is what I thought but they said Jingles so I just went with that. Anyways, they didn’t say how he was going to be in there but he will be incorporated into Pixar Pier.

The Parks Blog event, in spite of its content, was well run and a great event. Reserved PTN seating, Pixar shorts screening, Imagineering panel, a couple hours on the pier with free food and rides.

It beat the pants off the Pixar Pier Premiere event that several hundred suckers paid $299 for.
Yep, great if you could get into it...but alas, it was filled with Disney bloggers and website hacks.

The reason why you see people like that is these events is how they're released. You have to be on Twitter and click the link immediately to get in. The people who spend the most time on Twitter are usually people like bloggers.

I don't think it's a good system and I would prefer they move to a limited time drawing - say entering within an hour period and then names are drawn - but they've been doing it this way for five years now and it's unlikely to change any time soon.

Agreed. We got into two events over the years, just lucky to be on twitter at the right time. ElecTronica and World of Color events.
