I'm sittin here at 4:04am and a commercial just came on the Disney Channel where they were showing new attractions at Disneyland Paris. Of course the commercial was for some kind of sports thing taking place over there but still it was cool. A rare but exciting moment.

It was the Legend of the Lion King stage show and the Peter Pan to the Rescue show. Aparenlty they will be showing other Disney parks from around the world...of course in this one they showed DLP for about 10 seconds and the rest was an interview with this kid who's a soccer player.

yeah it sounds like Disney Channel is hosting the Jetix International Soccer Championship or something like that...kids from all over the world are competing for the Jetix cup

I'm really surprised they don't show that much of the parks on the Disney Channel. I'd like to see a live show from there or something more than the occasional attraction previews. With nothing but reruns of Even Stevens there is really nothing to draw me there. Even Stevens was the best show on the Disney Channel, now it is doomed to reruns.

They've also showed the unveiling of the Mickey statues at the MK for a commercial on Mickey's 75th.I was in shock, something with Disney World in it on the Disney Channel!?! No way!

Of course the Magic Kingdom was just sort of in the background of that one...doing one of those HEY MOM LOOK AT ME I'M ON TV deals.

I really miss Vault Disney but I guess noone would buy those dvd's that come in the sardine can if they still showed it. And I'm not even going to start on the fact that Boy Meets World comes on at 12 and 3 AM!!! Not cool.

You mean, the Disney Channel and the Disney theme parks are owned by the same company? I guess it makes sense, they're both being run half-assedly. :brick:
