Hopfully that caught your attention. I'm working on a DoD project. I'll give you the information as it arises. Its just a streaming server of popkid's stuff....and speaking of that, i have some changes to login info.

If you want to login to DOWNLOAD, use port 21. If you want to login to UPLOAD, use port 22. You will only have access to the uploads directory if you are logged in with port 22.

good news and bad

Well, its here. Disney onDEMAND

All you need is windows media player (WMP 9 is your best bet for best sounding audio) and put this into any web browser or something:

mms://24.46.67.118/PublishingPoint1

However, this ondemand function is similar to that of live365 and you're unable to fast forward and stuff. I'll tweak it in the morning and stuff. Meanwhile, feel free to lsiten.

This came with a price. Moving 16 gig's of media files out of the already sorted ftp directories was a bit messy, so I'm taking the ftp down for a while. If you'd like to contribute to the streaming playlist, and would like to upload via FTP, send me a PM. If i get enough requests, i'll open it.

Ugh. I should have clicked "edit", but I didn't.

I changed the onDemand features so that you're able to fast forward through tracks and stuff.

Windows Media Services only plays wma, wmv, and mp3 files. All the stuff that's an mpeg or avi file on popkid's stuff needs to get converted. anyone willing to do so, please send me a PM.

The new url to get the stuff is at

mms://24.46.67.118/PublishingPoint2

Windows Media Player 8 or above is REQUIRED.

Hey Ian, cool music!! Although, I haven't heard half of that stuff before, I don't know if its just me... I had to skip through about 20 songs to get to a Disney song that I recognized (which was Yo Ho Yo Ho A Pirates Life for Me). Maybe most of the stuff is area music that I've never heard before... I don't know...

Anyway, just wanted to tell you that the DisneyOnDemand is great!

If that happens, its because the server isn't running. it took about 30 minutes for my comp to just create the list of 16 gig's of media, so running it to the public takes a lot out of my machine...if i dig up an older comp, i'll make it a server....
