Disney Music For Wedding Reception

Hi

I'm getting married in December and honeymooning in the Grand Floridian and really can't wait to go. We are having a Disney and Christmas themed wedding and are putting together a Disney themed playlist for the wedding breakfast.

Does anyone know of any good Disney CDs that could be used as background music, preferably instrumental?

Thanks in advance

Mark

Search for music from Club 33 in Disneyland. I'm not sure if it's sold on a CD, but I've downloaded some nice instrumental versions of Disney songs online (Part of Your World, Be Our Guest, etc.).

Check out MouseBits.com or http://yeahdisneyaudios.tumblr.com/tagged/Club-33 (this is where I got a few songs...and he just added more!)

And congratulations on your wedding! The plans sound amazing.

My wife and I got married Sept last year and we used the CD titled Disney Love Songs I believe. It's all the love songs from all the animated movies through the years in an instrumental form. The "lyrics" are played by a harp and it really is a beautiful cd. We played it during dinner and everyone absolutely loved it.

They actually released a CD called Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings. I believe it was just a repack of Disney's Instrumental Impressions - 14 Classic Disney Love Songs. They also have Disney - Happily Ever After and Essential Disney Love Song Collection. Music in a similar vein (light jazzy/classical) Dave Digs Disney by Dave Brubeck, Disney Movie Themes by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. It really depends on the mood you are trying to set. Going for subtle Disney vs "Hey! We love Disney so here is Aladdin and Jasmine singin a love song!".

The fairy tale weddings cd as mentioned is really neat.

Also the Disney Jazz vol. 1 cd is great for some upbeat jazz. We are using some of the songs from it at our reception.

We got a few Disney cd's from the library- and "Kiss The Girl" from The Little Mermaid was a big hit at our reception:)

Thanks for the posts guys. I think I will get the Fairytale Wedding album. Listened to some sound clips and it sounded like what we are looking for. Can't wait for the wedding. I'm a keyboard player and my fiance is walking down the aisle to a version of Second Star to the Right that I arranged (special song for us). Coming out I have arranged a version of One Song. The tables at the reception are named after famous places in Disney films so guests can do a quiz to see if they know the film.

I'm really sad but very excited :)
