Does anyone participate in this program ? The "Grand Prize" is a free trip to Disney if you have 22,000 pts ? If you participate, are you trying to get this prize? How close are you?

I'm just wondering if 22,000 pts is really attainable! LOL! :)

Wow, I've never noticed this prize before (by the way, it says "currently unavailable"). I currently have 1,925 points. I don't know how many titles there are in the Disney Movie Rewards' library, but my guess is that it isn't many more than 220. But, if you could get each title for $15 or so, this could be a pretty cheap vacation for a family of 4 at a deluxe resort!

I collect the disney points. But then again, I don't usually go out of my way to buy lots of DVDs, so I'm nowhere near that trip!

I figure I'll end up using it on just some poster or movie or something.

In order to even get close to that prize, you would have to have bought every dvd that has come out and gotten the bonus points plus went to every Disney film that has come out since they started it and then you might be getting close. Oh and you would have had to buy every re-release of DVD on Blue Ray that has come out

Yea, I does seem like a huge amount of points. They do have a lot of bonus point opportunities that could help (that way you didnt have to buy every single movie!)

I saw the rules too ... and I have some of the cards, but I didnt know you had to keep them and your receipt! Ugg. So I guess I am out of luck there!

I think the receipt thing is to stop people from just buying the points on eBay. If you bought the points on eBay as opposed to buying the DVDs, you could have this trip for around $700 or so. Definitely much cheaper than it would actually cost...

A friend of mine gave me her points for a movie I had already entered for the points. The website told me that I could not enter the code since I had already entered a code for that movie. Anyone else have this problem? I'm thinking that if it won't let you enter double codes, why would you need to save receipts?

I can collect the ponts from the DVD's, but I'lm pretty much SOL when it comes to theater tickets. Our small town still has the original main street theater, and doesn't use printed tickets. It's not worth it to me to use $10.00 worth of gas to drive into one of the mega therater complexes just to get a ticket to mail in for 100 points.
