Not to Spam up this site, but I got an interesting piece of mail today from the Disney Movie Club www.disneymovieclub.com


They are offering 3 movies for $1.99 each, and you have to buy 5 more at regular price within 2 years (kind of like Columbia House or BMG)

They seem to have all of the animated and live-action movies that are not vaulted, along with Baby Einstein and stuff like that.

In the UK there is a company called "Britannia" who do these things. They fail to tell you that the "regular" price makes Dasani bought in the parks seem like a bargain (plus the extortionate postage and handling charges on top of that) . They also have a habit of sending "recommended" titles to you that you have to send back before they charge you for them.

I don't know if things are any better in American, but over here I would not touch such offeres with the proverbial barge pole.
