Disney mobile magic app vs My Disney Experience app

I've had the mobile magic app for some time. Are they pretty much the same? Just wondering.

My Disney Experience app you can view wait times, view park hours, character times, book dining reservations, link park tickets (Magic Bands), and view and manage reservations on property. I would imagine that the information on mobile magic might be correct as my Disney Experience since it is the new app going forward.

You'll want to migrate to My Disney Experience in the near future. Once they roll out MM+ full swing, Mobile Magic won't serve as much of a purpose as MDE, since you won't be able to access your online account or link any tickets or reservations to it.
