Disney-MGM Studios celebrate 15th anniversary
Date: 05/06/2004

Streamers filled the air at the Disney-MGM Studios on May 5 as many Disney characters came together in front of the Sorcerer's Hat icon to celebrate the park's 15th anniversary.

Guests gathered to watch the celebration, which included appearances by Star Wars characters, Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy, new characters JoJo and Goliath from Disney Channel's JoJo's Circus, and more.

The event also celebrated the 5th anniversary of Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith and the 10th anniversary of "The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror."

The lighthearted ceremony concluded with an announcement that the Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights, which features more than five million holiday lights, will return to the park this holiday season following a one-year hiatus.

10 years ago, TOT, 5 years, RNRC. What's coming this 5 year period? The stunt show seems less spectacular when you compare it to the other two. Maybe I'm judging prematurly, but a copy of a stunt show seems pale compared to two great original attractions. Then again, I've never seen the show, so who am I to complain.

Well, Grizz...either that's a big boost and cheer for the Muppets (which we all love) or is that some hint of things to come? :drevil:
